According to "Autostat Info," from January to September 2025, the turnover of the Russian market for new passenger cars reached 2.7 trillion rubles. Of these, 1.57 trillion are accounted for by Chinese brands — almost 60% of all money in the segment. This is no longer a surge, but an established market trend.
After the winter decline, the market grew steadily: from 264 billion rubles in January to 391 billion in September. The main jumps were recorded in March, July, and August. The largest revenues were provided by Haval (44.5 billion), Geely (37.1 billion), and Lada (34.8 billion). Chery, on the contrary, reduced volumes from 30.1 to 22.5 billion rubles.
Among Chinese brands, Haval became the leader in revenue — 305 billion rubles in three quarters, followed by Chery (244 billion) and Geely (233 billion). The top 3 models are Haval Jolion (112 billion), Geely Monjaro (109 billion), and Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (96 billion). They are followed by Changan Uni-S, Haval M6, Omoda C5, and Geely Atlas.
In the fall, the market entered a phase of moderate growth, where Chinese brands firmly maintain their leadership. If the trend continues, their total share by the end of the year will exceed the current 1.57 trillion rubles.
