The Geely Coolray crossover has disappeared from the list of models officially offered in Russia. The manufacturer explained the decision by the specifics of supplies and the brand's strategy in the domestic market.
The Geely Coolray, updated in 2023, is no longer part of the Russian lineup of the brand. The role of the junior crossover is now assigned to the Cityray model, which is a step below the Atlas. Only 2024 models remain on sale at dealers.
The Geely press service explained that there are no cars of the current year, as a sufficient number of 2024 cars have been imported to meet demand. The first generation Coolray continues to be sold, but under the Belgee brand, as does the Emgrand sedan. Both are produced in Belarus.
The original Emgrand was previously supplied to Russia from China. The appearance of Belgee S50 means that this model will no longer be imported, as has already happened with the pre-styling Coolray and Atlas Pro, which have also switched to the Belgee brand. The Preface sedan is still supplied from China.
