Changan has announced the launch of the fourth-generation CS75 Plus crossover in the Russian market. The key update is the introduction of an all-wheel drive system, which is now available for the version with a two-liter turbocharged engine. Order acceptance in Russia starts on November 15.
The model is built on a modernized platform. Compared to the previous generation, which was released in Russia a year ago, the new CS75Plus has become larger: the length has increased by 60 mm, the width by 45 mm, and the wheelbase has grown by 90 mm. The suspension has also been redesigned - the stiffness of the shock absorbers has been reduced by 30%, while the longitudinal rolling has decreased by 20%, and the lateral rolling by 15%.
In Russia, the CS75Plus will be available with two gasoline turbocharged engines - 1.5 and 2.0 liters. Both units work in tandem with a classic 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive version with a 2.0 engine will receive a sixth-generation BorgWarner clutch and a set of modes for different types of surfaces.
The manufacturer emphasizes that the crossover is adapted to Russian conditions - from climatic features to road operating modes. With the launch of the new generation, Changan is strengthening its position in the mid-size SUV segment, which continues to grow actively.
