Deputies of the Moscow Regional Duma decided to gradually increase the rates of transport tax for various categories of vehicles. The new rules will take effect from 2026.
For cars with engine power up to 100 hp, a differentiated scale of increase is provided. From the current 10 rubles per one hp to 14 rubles in 2026, 15 rubles in 2027, followed by an increase to 25 rubles by 2032.
For vehicles with a capacity of 100 to 150 hp, the rate will be increased from 34 to 35 rubles next year.
The rate for cars with a capacity of 150-200 hp will increase by 1 ruble, reaching 50 rubles. The changes will also affect owners of motorcycles and scooters.
