Lada car production at the AvtoVAZ site in Togliatti by the end of 2025 will decrease by 40% compared to last year and will amount to 274,000 cars. This assessment was given in the materials for the meeting of the representative body of Togliatti.
It is projected that the volume of products shipped by the car plant in monetary terms this year will amount to 464.5 billion rubles, which is 27.7% less than the year before.
AvtoVAZ produces Lada Granta, Iskra, Vesta Niva Travel and Legend, as well as Aura cars in Togliatti. Next year, it is planned to establish mass production of the new Lada Azimut crossover there.
Total sales of passenger cars in the Russian Federation in January–October this year decreased by 19.9%, to 1.06 million units.
