BMW has officially confirmed the end of production of the Z4 roadster and introduced a special Z4 Final Edition, which will be the final point in the history of the model. There will be no successor to the Z4, and the special version itself will be released in a limited edition and in only one version. Buyers will be offered a choice of transmission - an eight-speed "automatic" or a six-speed manual with the Edition Handschalter package, which includes retuning of the suspension, steering, traction control and M Sport differential.
The engine range has not been touched: the Final Edition received the familiar 3.0-liter in-line turbo engine with 382 hp. The roadster is equipped with different-sized wheels - 19 inches at the front and 20 at the rear. The interior features black Vernasca leather seats with Alcantara and red stitching, unique sills and an extended set of options, including Driver Assistance and Premium packages, as well as Harman Kardon acoustics.
Production of the Z4 Final Edition will last only from February to April 2026 and will be very limited. The cost of the latest Z4 is $78,675, including delivery, which is noticeably higher than the regular Z4 M40i 2026 model year, starting at $69,575.
