The Geely Galaxy V900 minivan, presented at the Guangzhou Auto Show, attracted attention not only with its design and hybrid powertrain. The model entered the Guinness Book of Records as a car capable of accommodating a record number of passengers.
It was possible to seat 42 dancers in the cabin. The record was set back on October 27, but the manufacturer revealed the details only after the final preparation of the car for its market launch.
The minivan boasts the best interior space in its class — 8.41 sq. m., as well as an internal space utilization rate of 91.8%.
The model is an updated version of the LEVC L380 minivan, which has been transferred to the Geely brand. Dimensions — 5360 × 1998 × 1940 mm, wheelbase — 3200 mm. The car has become 44 mm longer and has received an increased wheelbase.
The hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 163 hp, which works as a generator for recharging the battery. On electric power, the V900 is capable of traveling from 172 to 202 km.
