Massive failures of Porsche cars are being recorded in Russia - cars suddenly stop responding to start and turn into "bricks". Cases of failures have been registered in Moscow, Krasnodar and other regions.
According to preliminary data, the problem may be related to a communication failure between electronic modules. Dealers do not rule out that the malfunction is caused by a failure in the factory alarm system, which, in case of an error, completely blocks the car. In some cases, owners cannot start the engine or unlock a number of car systems.
Some drivers claim that it is possible to temporarily restore operation only in a radical way - by disconnecting the battery for at least 10 hours. However, this did not help many: the cars had to be sent to service centers by tow trucks.
There are no official comments from Porsche on the situation yet. Dealers clarify that diagnostics indicate a simultaneous "failure" of several modules, which leads to a complete blocking of the car.
Owners are advised not to try to start the car again in order not to aggravate the problem, and to contact the service as soon as possible.
