Imports of new cars to Russia in November 2025 reached a maximum for the entire year: according to Avtostat, 55.9 thousand cars were imported, which is only slightly less than last year's result. China accounted for the lion's share of deliveries - 64.2%, and Geely became the most popular brand. Among the models, the Jetour T1 crossover was the undisputed leader, confidently holding the first place in terms of the number of imported units.
The flow of used cars has also noticeably intensified: in November, 59.8 thousand cars were imported into the country - this is a record in two years and an increase of 83% compared to 2024. Toyota Corolla became the absolute leader, and Japan again became the main source of such cars (34.2%), followed by Korea and China. Analysts emphasize that the main volume of used car imports is formed by individuals who are trying to buy suitable models before possible changes in the market.
In total, in November, the Russian market for new passenger cars reached about 128 thousand cars sold - 5% more than a year ago. However, compared to October, demand fell sharply by 23%. Experts explain this by market saturation and growing interest in more affordable imports, which is increasingly affecting the sales structure within the country.
