AvtoVAZ is interested in cooperating with India in the field of automotive production. This was stated by Sergey Gromak, Vice President for External Relations and Interaction with Shareholders of the company.
According to him, Indian engineering has been developing very successfully in recent years.
We would be interested in working together with Indian engineering companies to create new automotive platforms, promote hybrid propulsion technologies, and develop a line of automatic transmissions and turbocharged engines.
Gromak added that AvtoVAZ is interested in localizing Indian suppliers in Russia.
He clarified that the auto concern, as a buyer, needs industrial robots, 3D printers, stamping equipment and molds that Indian companies can offer.
