BMW Saw a Sharp Increase in Russia: New Car Registrations Soared by 166% in November

BMW X3 Leads, and Demand for Crossovers Remains Dominant

In November, the Russian market showed a record surge in interest in BMW cars. Over the month, 2,149 new cars were registered, which is 166% more than the result of November last year, when only 807 cars were registered. However, the cumulative growth is more modest: in 11 months, the number of registrations increased by 31%, reaching 14,234 units.

The main driver of sales was the BMW X3 — 640 such crossovers were registered in November, that is, almost a third of all new BMWs. The top also includes the X5 with a result of 300 cars, the X1 (271 units), the large X7 (198 units) and the coupe-like X6 (197 units).

The dominance of crossovers remains absolute: they form the basis of demand and maintain interest in the brand against the backdrop of a general revival of the premium segment.
