AvtoVAZ CEO Maxim Sokolov has signed an order for the company to return to a full five-day work week starting January 1, 2026. This was reported by the company's press service.
It is worth recalling that the automaker switched to a four-day schedule on September 29, 2025.
The President of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, signed an order on December 10 to return to a full five-day work week starting January 1, 2026. I don't think any additional comments are needed here.
Sokolov also noted that AvtoVAZ expects to produce at least 400,000 cars in 2026. Models such as Lada Iskra and Lada Azimut will "take a worthy place in the market" in the second half of the year.
At the same time, the volume of sales and production of new cars will largely depend on the key rate and government support measures for demand, Sokolov added.
