The Jaecoo brand has begun final preparations for the start of sales of the Jaecoo J6 crossover in Russia and has announced the improvements that the model underwent before entering the market. To increase stability and improve external proportions, engineers increased the dimensions: length to 4509 mm, width to 1860 mm, and height to 1650 mm. The crossover received high ground clearance, large approach and departure angles — 20 and 30 degrees — and is capable of crossing a ford up to 600 mm deep, which makes it suitable for country routes and light off-road driving.
Special attention is paid to safety and driver assistance systems. The equipment will include 19 ADAS assistants: blind spot monitoring, lane change warning, possible collision control, cornering assistance, and functions to facilitate traffic jams. These systems increase comfort on the highway and simplify maneuvering in the city.
According to preliminary data, the Jaecoo J6 will receive a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 hp and 210 Nm, working with a 6-speed robotic gearbox with a double clutch.
The official premiere of the crossover is scheduled for 2026.
