In November, shipments of used passenger cars from South Korea to Russia increased sharply: 14.8 thousand cars were imported, which is 2.7 times more than a year ago. The South Korean direction has become one of the most dynamic in 2025, and demand continues to grow amid limited choices within the country.
The leaders in terms of brands were Kia, BMW, and Hyundai. In November, 3886 Kia cars, 2844 BMWs, and 2165 Hyundais arrived in Russia. Mercedes-Benz and Audi also made it into the top five. Among the models, the Hyundai Palisade is in first place — 962 imported cars. Next are the Kia Sorento (784 units), Kia Carnival (768 units), BMW 5 Series (640 units), and Kia K5 (508 units).
Over 11 months, Russians imported more than 100 thousand used cars from South Korea — almost twice as many as in the same period last year. The market is shifting towards large crossovers and minivans, and Korean brands are maintaining their leadership thanks to a combination of equipment, age, and price.
