One of the most unusual cars ever created by AvtoVAZ has appeared for sale in Russia. We are talking about Lada Revolution - a conceptual sports car from the early 2000s, which was conceived as a hallmark of the new, "charged" domestic auto industry.
For AvtoVAZ, the project became an internal challenge: to make a car that would look modern even by world standards. And in the early 2000s, the engineers really succeeded.
Although mass production never started, the concept itself became the starting point for several subsequent experiments in design and sports technology.
The copy for sale is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with 215 hp, accelerates to 100 km/h in about 5 seconds and is capable of reaching 250 km/h. The car is bright blue, with fully working technical equipment, and can become both a museum exhibit and a "locomotive" of any private collection. The cost of the lot is 7.5 million rubles.
