A 1985 UAZ-452 "Bukhanka" has been put up for sale in Europe after a complete technical and body restoration. The car has been converted into an expedition camper and is priced at 23,500 euros (approximately 2.2 million rubles).
The car was imported into the Netherlands in 2021. Before the sale, the body was completely cleaned of corrosion, repainted, and insulated. The mechanical upgrades were carried out by UAZ Specials.
Under the hood, a modified gasoline engine from the GAZ "Volga" with about 100 hp has been installed. It works in conjunction with a manual transmission and a new clutch. The braking system, steering, and cooling system have been completely overhauled, and new freewheel hubs and tires with about 5,000 km of mileage have been installed.
The front seats have been replaced with seats from a Smart car. The cargo compartment has been equipped with a living space: an L-shaped sofa that transforms into a 140×200 cm bed, wooden trim, and anti-corrosion floor treatment. A kitchen with a sink, 13 and 19-liter canisters, a gas stove, and space for a refrigerator has been installed.
Power is supplied by a 110 W solar panel and an Optima Yellow Top service battery with circuit separation. The car is ready for autonomous operation.
