The American car manufacturer Ford, which has left Russia, has filed applications for the registration of two trademarks. The corresponding data appeared in the Rospatent database.
According to the documents, two applications with the company logo in Russian and English were submitted to the department in December 2025.
If registered in Russia under the trademarks "Форд" and "Ford", the company will be able to sell auto parts, software and computer equipment for vehicles, as well as provide repair and maintenance services.
Ford stopped car production in Russia in 2019. Later, in October 2022, Ford Motor Company sold a 49% stake in a joint venture with the Russian automotive group "Sollers" — LLC "Sollers Ford".
It was clarified that Ford retained the option to buy back the assets within five years.
