Costly special effects: a Mercedes was confiscated in Moscow over a smoke show

The driver was fined 300,000 rubles

In Moscow, a court confiscated a Mercedes worth more than 2.6 million rubles from a 23-year-old driver who put on a smoke show near a bar on 1st Brestskaya Street. The young man began spinning the wheels in place, showing off the car's power in front of his friends, which was noticed by law enforcement officers.

At the scene, the man refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication. The check showed that this was not the first such case: previously, he had already violated the rules, been stripped of his license, and fined.

For the repeated refusal, the court fined the driver 300,000 rubles and banned him from engaging in activities related to driving vehicles for two years.

In accordance with the position of the Tverskaya Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office, the car was confiscated for the benefit of the state.
