An angular van with a design resembling the Tesla Cybertruck was photographed in Perm. The photos quickly spread across social networks. The inscriptions "Russo-Balt" and "Russian electric vehicles" are visible on the car body.
At first, the car was noticed on a tow truck — it was being transported through the streets of the city. A few days later, the same van was already parked next to one of the offices.
No technical characteristics or information about the project are disclosed. It is unclear whether we are talking about a running prototype, a show car, or a private stylization of a well-known electric pickup.
In August 2025, a graphic sign «Russo-Balt» was registered in Perm in the category of cars and other vehicles. This suggests that the project may be related to an attempt to revive the historical brand.
From 1908 to 1919, «Russo-Balt» produced cars in the Russian Empire. Over the past decades, several entrepreneurs have tried to revive the brand, but mass production has never been established.
