The Russian Atom electric vehicle will officially go on sale in April 2026, according to Aleksandr Kostylev, Commercial Director of AO Kama. Sales for private customers will be conducted online with home delivery of the vehicle.
Test drives and service maintenance will be organized by the company’s partners in major cities. In the future, the geographic coverage will be expanded as needed.
The first deliveries will go to customers who placed pre-orders in 2023, as well as car-sharing partners, taxi fleets, and regional government authorities. These vehicles will be used for pilot testing.
For customers who have already placed a pre-order, the price of the Atom electric vehicle is 3.9 million rubles. When purchased on credit or through leasing, a state subsidy of 925 thousand rubles applies, reducing the final cost to 2.975 million rubles.
Development of the Atom electric vehicle has been underway since 2021. The first functional prototype was presented in Moscow in May 2023.
