Toyota's global sales rose to 11.3 million vehicles

Russia's share in the brand's global sales remained at 0.3%

Global sales of Toyota Motor in 2025 increased by 4.6% and reached 11.3 million vehicles, while Russia's share in the global volume was only 0.3%, according to auto expert Sergei Tselikov.

According to Tselikov, in 2025, Toyota Motor, including the Daihatsu and Hino brands, sold 11.3 million vehicles. In the domestic Japanese market, sales increased by almost 12% and reached 2,071,254 vehicles. In foreign markets, sales increased by 3.1% to 9,251,321 vehicles.

Sales of the Toyota and Lexus brands together increased by 3.7% to 10,536,807 units. In North America, 2,929,660 vehicles were sold, which is 7.3% more than the previous year. In Latin America, sales increased by 3.2% to 472,049 vehicles. In Asian countries, excluding Japan, growth reached 2.2% with a volume of 3,285,605 vehicles. In Europe, sales increased by 1.4% to 1,182,551 units.

In the Russian market, where Toyota and Lexus cars are represented only through parallel imports, 29,144 new Toyota cars were sold in 2025, which is 40% less than the year before. Lexus sales decreased by 3% and amounted to 4,875 vehicles. As a result, Russia's share in global sales of Toyota and Lexus amounted to 0.3%, Sergei Tselikov noted.
