This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, on the sidelines of the Innoprom. Saudi Arabia exhibition.
According to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, GAZ vehicles have already received all the necessary permits to enter the Saudi market. The next step could be the organization of assembly production if sales show a stable result.
GAZ has already certified its light commercial vehicles here in the Saudi market. If the cars are in demand, they are also considering the issue of starting large-node assembly in order to enter both the Saudi market and the markets of neighboring countries.
