BMW deliveries to Russia may decrease, leading to price increases. This was reported to Rossiyskaya Gazeta by Nikolai Ivanov, Director of the New Car Sales Department at Rolf.
Earlier it became known that BMW instructed its Chinese division to prevent the export of cars to the Russian Federation. At the same time, the company admitted that cars continue to enter the country through parallel imports.
This brand is one of the most popular among parallel and alternative imports. If this situation arises and deliveries of BMW cars decrease, there will be a shortage in the market, which will inevitably lead to an increase in the cost of these cars. We will, of course, carefully monitor the development of events.
According to him, the restrictions could have been introduced against the backdrop of the growing popularity of the brand in Russia. Despite the lack of official deliveries, demand for BMW cars remains consistently high. At the end of 2025, sales of the brand in the country increased by 42% compared to the previous year.
The expert believes that the consequences of a possible reduction in BMW deliveries may appear in the near future.
