After December 1, the top 5 used cars from China changed. The Ministry of Industry and Trade's decision to lower the threshold for the preferential recycling fee to 160 hp affected the structure of imports.
Before December 1, imports of used cars from China were led by the Toyota RAV4 with a 4.6% share. In second place was the Toyota Corolla at 4.5%. They were followed by the Honda Breeze at 3.0%, the BMW X3 at 2.6%, and the Honda CR-V at 2.6%.
After the rule change, the top 5 used cars from China looks different. The leader became the Toyota Corolla with a 7% share. Second place went to the Audi A3 at 4.3%, and third to the Audi Q3 with a result of 4.2%. The top five also included the Volkswagen Tharu at 3.7% and the Volkswagen Golf at 3.5%.
Thus, the adjustment of import conditions affected demand and redistributed positions among the most sought-after models.
