The Gorky Automobile Plant has started production of a new body for the Gazelle NEXT and Gazelle NN chassis. It is a refrigerated van with a tail lift that simplifies loading and unloading. The maximum weight of cargo lifted by the tail lift is 750 kg.
The new version is designed for transporting products that require compliance with a temperature-controlled regime. At the same time, the design is aimed at reducing labor costs when handling heavy cargo. The tail lift makes it possible to mechanize the lifting of pallets and oversized shipments.
The body is made with corrosion protection in mind. The outer and inner cladding of the sandwich panels is made of fiberglass. The floor received a wear-resistant GripStar plastic coating. In addition, the external and internal finishing corner pieces, as well as the internal edging of the body, are made of aluminum profile. The fittings are made of galvanized steel.
The overall dimensions of the van body are 4.2x2.2x2.4 m, and its capacity is 18.3 cubic meters. There is also a version with thermal insulation thickness reduced to 50 mm. Such a van, with the same external dimensions, holds one cubic meter more.
