Dacia is preparing a new Striker station wagon

The model will receive a hybrid version and may cost up to 25 thousand euros

Dacia is preparing to premiere the new Striker station wagon, the largest model in its lineup. The car is expected to premiere in the summer, and production is planned to be established at the Renault plant in Turkey.

The length of the Dacia Striker will be about 4.62 meters. The model will be built on the CMF-B platform, which is already used on other cars of the brand. The manufacturer promises a spacious interior, a roomy trunk, increased ground clearance and a protective body kit made of black plastic.

Hybrid versions are expected in the powertrain lineup. It is assumed a combination of a 1.2-liter turbo engine with 140 hp, a six-speed preselective robot and an electric motor on the rear axle. A bi-fuel version running on gasoline and liquefied gas may also appear.

Exact prices have not yet been announced. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of the Dacia Striker may be up to 25 thousand euros, which corresponds to the segment of large family crossovers in the European market.
