Lamborghini is not ruling out the return of the Sterrato off-road supercar version. This was stated by the brand's head, Stephan Winkelmann. In the future, a similar model may appear based on the new Lamborghini Temerario supercar.
The first Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato was introduced in 2023. The model featured increased ground clearance, off-road tires, and protective body kit. The unusual concept — a supercar with a rally character — quickly attracted buyers and occupied its own niche in the market. Among the cars similar in idea is the Porsche 911 Dakar.
According to Stephan Winkelmann, the company is currently focused on traditional versions of supercars: coupes, convertibles, and more powerful modifications. However, he noted that the Sterrato experience was successful and the brand may return to a similar format in the future.
The Temerario model, introduced less than two years ago, could be the basis for a possible new version. First, the manufacturer is expected to release a Spyder version with a hybrid setup based on a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The total output of the power plant is 907 hp.
Later, a lighter and more powerful version may appear, similar to the Huracan Performante or Huracan STO models, with a power of about 950 hp.
