Sales of SWM and Kaiyi in Russia have practically disappeared: 101 and 37 cars were sold in January–February, respectively.
We are talking about SWM and Kaiyi models, which were assembled at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. At the end of the first two months, SWM sales decreased by 91.3%, Kaiyi — by 94%.
The Kaiyi brand entered the Russian market in early 2023, and SWM — at the end of the same year. About 22 thousand Kaiyi cars and 6.3 thousand SWM cars have been sold in total.
In 2024, dealers actively sold off the remaining stock, reducing prices by 30% or more. At the same time, the assembly of Kaiyi was completed in early 2025, and the last SWM cars were produced in September 2024.
Taking into account the production and sales volumes, there are about 300–400 cars left in warehouses. The presence of brands in the Russian market is virtually complete.
