Mitsubishi Unveiled the New Triton Raider

The pickup will be released in Australia in 2026

Mitsubishi will launch the Mitsubishi Triton Raider pickup in Australia in May 2026. The model has received an upgraded suspension and off-road improvements, but retains the same engine. The version was developed in collaboration with Premcar. The main changes concern the chassis: new suspension, increased ground clearance and widened track.

The suspension received new shock absorbers and springs. Ground clearance is increased by 25 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear. The track is widened by 20 mm. Bridgestone Dueler A/T 002 tires are installed.

The engine has not changed. The 2.4-liter diesel biturbo develops 201 hp and 470 Nm. It works with a six-speed automatic transmission and a Super Select 4WD-II all-wheel drive system.

Externally, the version stands out with 18-inch wheels, underbody protection and off-road decor. Inside, there is leather trim and signature Raider elements.

The price has not been announced, the guideline is about 75 thousand Australian dollars (4,093,000 rubles). The model will compete with the Ford Ranger Tremor and Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior. The company does not rule out a more extreme version in the future if there is demand.
