In the first three months of the year, 42 new Rolls-Royce Motor Cars were registered in Russia. The main contribution comes from 31 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs and 7 Rolls-Royce Spectre coupes. Rolls-Royce Phantom and Rolls-Royce Ghost sedans account for a minimal share – a few units each. Against the backdrop of the global industry's transition to electric traction, it is the ultra-luxury segment that is quicker to adapt new technologies – due to the price, which allows for expensive solutions in acoustics, insulation, and calibrations.
In the demand structure, interest in the Spectre – the brand's first production model with all-electric traction – has intensified. This is not just a new type of powertrain, but a transfer of signature qualities – silence and smoothness – into a different technological format. For the brand, this is a key stage in updating its lineup.
The Spectre uses a high-capacity battery and a dual-motor scheme, providing characteristic "seamless" dynamics without gear shifts. For the owner, this means a different user experience: less vibration and noise while maintaining the traction familiar to the brand. The Cullinan, on the other hand, meets the demand for versatility and off-road capability – which is why it remains a sales driver.
The starting price of the Spectre is from 52 million rubles, the Cullinan is more expensive. At the same time, the long-term dynamics are stable: over 2 thousand cars have been sold in 15 years, with a peak in 2021 (261 units), and 225 units last year, close to maximum values.
