Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a special version of the iconic Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV, created exclusively for the Middle Eastern market. The new model is called the G63 Mirage Edition, and its production is limited to just 35 units.

The name refers to the natural phenomenon of a mirage, characteristic of deserts. The manufacturer decided to play on this idea not only in marketing but also in the car's design.

The main feature of the version is the exclusive matte paint finish Manufaktur Made to Measure Verde Silver Magno. According to Mercedes-Benz, depending on the lighting, viewing angle, and movement, the body changes its visual perception of the shade, creating an effect reminiscent of a desert mirage.

This paintwork is part of the Manufaktur Made to Measure program, which allows for the creation of individual cars, similar to personalized projects from other luxury car manufacturers.

The special version also received 22-inch forged AMG wheels in Tech Gold, an original spare wheel cover with the inscription "one of 35", a Platinum White leather interior, and a signature front passenger grab handle with the limited edition designation.

No technical changes are provided. The Mirage Edition is based on the standard Mercedes-AMG G 63, equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine, which belongs to the same engine family used, for example, in the Aston Martin DB12.

Sales of the exclusive version are limited to Middle Eastern countries, where large body-on-frame SUVs traditionally enjoy high demand. Toyota Land Cruiser and Mercedes-Benz G-Class have remained among the most popular cars in this region for many years.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz continues to expand the G-Class family. According to unofficial information, a compact version of the SUV, known as the Baby G-Class, will debut as early as 2027. Initially, it was expected that the model would be fully electric, but recent reports indicate the possibility of a gasoline modification. In addition, an open-top version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 may be released by 2028.
