Bugatti has officially opened its new production complex, La Manufacture, in Molsheim, France. This is where preparations for the production of the new Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar will be organized, which will be the brand's first production model of the Bugatti Rimac era.

The new 3245 m² building was constructed in less than a year. The complex will handle preliminary body and interior assembly, quality control, painting, polishing, and final preparation of vehicles before they are transferred to Bugatti's historic atelier for final assembly.

La Manufacture's production capacity reaches 200 cars per year. For a brand that produces only a few hundred cars annually, this is not only an expansion of production capabilities but also an investment in future projects beyond the current Tourbillon.

The Bugatti Tourbillon itself, unveiled in 2024, features an entirely new hybrid powertrain. At its core is an atmospheric 8.3-liter V16 engine, working in conjunction with electric motors. The combined output reaches approximately 1800 hp, and the top speed exceeds 400 km/h. The model's production is limited to 250 units, with prices starting at around 3.8 million euros, and customer deliveries are set to begin in 2026.

CEO Mate Rimac emphasized that Molsheim remains the "center of Bugatti's attraction," continuing the traditions established by the brand's founder, Ettore Bugatti, over a century ago. According to the company's management, the new complex reflects the brand's long-term development strategy and will form the basis for future models.
