In June 2026, Russia imported passenger cars from China worth $1.24 billion. This is three times more than in the same month last year. These data are provided by RIA Novosti with reference to Chinese customs statistics.

Despite the impressive annual growth, compared to May, the volume of imports slightly decreased. In monetary terms, the decline was 6.3%.

As of June, Russia maintained its second place among the largest importers of passenger cars from China. The UK became the leader of the rating, having purchased Chinese cars for slightly more - $1.27 billion.

Belgium closed the top three, with its imports for the reporting month amounting to $1.16 billion.

Statistics indicate a continued high demand for Chinese cars in the Russian market, despite a slight monthly decrease in supply volume.
