JSC "MB RUS" has launched the Foton View 5+1 cargo-passenger vehicle on the Russian market. The cabin features three seats in the front and a three-seater sliding second-row sofa. The partition between the passenger and cargo areas can also move with the sofa.

The vehicle is based on a 4x2 rear-wheel-drive chassis and a 2-liter turbodiesel engine with 159 hp and a maximum torque of 377 N·m. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Two body height options are available – 1990 and 2195 mm.

The van's length is 5.49 m, width is 1.98 m, and wheelbase is 3.51 m. Depending on the configuration, the gross vehicle weight reaches 3100 or 3495 kg. The rear suspension is leaf-sprung, which is suitable for the vehicle's purpose as commercial transport.

Basic equipment includes ABS, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors, and two front airbags. For an additional fee, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, surround view, and blind-spot monitoring are available.

The price of the Foton View 5+1 starts from 4,230,000 rubles for the version with a manual gearbox. Thus, the model is primarily intended for carriers who simultaneously need passenger seats and a full-fledged cargo area.
