How the updated Tank 300 was received in Russia

Towards the end of 2025, the Tank brand launched theupdated Tank 300 SUV on the Russian market. The premiere coincided with the brand's third anniversary in Russia. During this time, Tank vehicles have sold over 58,000 units, with over half of this volume accounted for by the "300", which has become the brand's key model.

The restyling turned out to be neat and precise. In the City Adventure and City Premium versions, exterior elements-door handles, mirror housings, and arch extensions-are now painted in the body color. 18-inch alloy wheels are included as standard, and the operation logic of the turn signals has been refined at the request of owners. There are no significant visual changes, but the car looks more complete and modern.

There are noticeably more updates in the cabin. Double-glazed front doors have been used to reduce noise, the steering wheel has a thicker round rim, and the digital instrument panel has acquired a classic design with round scales. The multimedia system with a 12.3-inch screen now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the wireless charging power has been increased to 50W.

The top Premium and City Premium trims received seats upholstered in Nappa leather in black or red-black, and the headliner is now finished in a dark gray shade. Overall, the interior feels more expensive, while the overall brutal style of the Tank 300 has been preserved.

The updated SUVs have already arrived at dealerships across the country. Some dealerships have several cars available, while others have only one. The recommended retail price starts at 4.3 million rubles. When trading in a car, you can save 200,000 rubles, and instead of a classic credit discount, an installment plan at 0.01% is offered. Dealers are usually willing to discuss the possibility of additional bargaining only during a personal visit.

Interestingly, the pre-styling Tank 300s are still available, but mainly in expensive trim levels. For example, the City Premium versions are estimated at about 5 million rubles-for the same money, you can already buy an updated car with improved equipment. The most affordable remain the basic Adventure, where the final price, taking into account Trade-in, falls below 4.1 million rubles.

The situation with colors deserves special attention. According to dealers, the black Tank 300 is the most popular option, and such cars are more often offered on order with a waiting period of about a month. White, red, and orange cars are usually in stock, and bright colors often still belong to pre-styling batches.

Technically, the Tank 300 has not changed. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 220 hp paired with an 8-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is offered in two versions: Part-Time with a rigid front axle connection and Torque-On-Demand with a clutch. All versions are equipped with a low range and a rear differential lock, and the maximum configurations also include a front lock. The updated Tank 300 has retained its proven "internals", focusing on comfort and popular options, which, judging by customer interest, has proven to be the right decision.
