At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, AvtoVAZ officially presented a special version of the Lada Aura sedan, adapted to the needs of taxi fleets.
The novelty received a characteristic coloring: a white body, a yellow stripe on the sides and traditional "checkers" on the wings - the standard for a licensed taxi in Russia.
Lada Aura is built on a Vesta platform extended by 250 mm, which made it possible to significantly increase the space for rear passengers. The car is equipped with a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 hp, working in tandem with a variator. In addition, in the future it is planned to release the Aura CNG version with the possibility of running on methane. This modification is especially relevant for commercial car parks seeking to reduce fuel costs.
The regular Aura participates in public procurement and is available to individuals. Two trim levels are available for sale, the minimum price is 2.6 million rubles. The car has temporary discounts of up to 550 thousand rubles, which makes it one of the most affordable in the business class in the domestic market.
