According to Avtograd public page, the paint, for which buyers pay an extra 20 thousand rubles (about 210 dollars), does not contain metallic particles that create a characteristic shine.
Upon detailed inspection, the coating looks like ordinary acrylic enamel, which casts doubt on the validity of the additional cost.
The insider who examined the car noted that even upon close examination with a flashlight and magnifying glass, there were no sparkles in the paint. This may be due to the choice of enamel manufacturer, but there is no exact data on this.
The press service of AvtoVAZ has not yet commented on the situation.
