LiAZ is the fourth Russian automaker to switch to this format of work. AvtoVAZ, GAZ, and KamAZ have also been affected by the schedule reduction.

At the same time, the employees of the Likino plant have already been on a reduced schedule for a month. Their salaries have already decreased by 15%, while everyone has different methods of payment. Some receive an hourly wage, some a piecework wage, and the rest are paid a salary.

According to the source, the four-day week is associated with a decrease in demand for domestic buses. Regions prefer to spend the allocated money on foreign transport. Most choose the Chinese brand YUTONG, or its analogues.
