The new AvtoVAZ Lada Iskra will not receive a blind spot monitoring system, which was first implemented on the Lada Vesta NG. This was stated in his comment to the representative of the "Lada Club" by the chief engineer of the project, Vitaly Loginov.
We implemented this function on the Lada Vesta car. It is not planned for Iskra.
Blind spot monitoring is a system that allows the driver to safely change lanes on the road. The system alerts the driver that there is a moving object in the "blind spot" of his car, which contributes to safer maneuvering.
It was also previously reported that only the top "Techno" configuration will receive a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors. In the "base", the car has rain and light sensors, as well as a tire pressure sensor.
