Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) will soon complete testing of the upgraded ZMZ Pro 2.7-liter gasoline engine with 150 hp.
The main improvement of the engine is additional mounting points between the spark plug wells and on the valve cover to improve tightness.
Tests are proceeding as planned. To date, the engine has completed 78% of the planned tests on the test bench.
There are no comments on the tightness of the valve cover mating relative to the perimeter of the spark plug wells and the cylinder head.
The upgraded engine will be installed on UAZ "Pickup", "Patriot", "Profi" and "Hunter" vehicles.
