The Soueast S06 crossover is preparing to debut on the Russian market. Ou Hao, Deputy General Director of Jetour Motor Rus, announced that the premiere will take place in the near future. The model is an updated version of the Jetour Dashing, already known in Russia. The Soueast brand appeared on the market a year ago with the S09 and S07 models; the S06 will expand the lineup in the compact crossover segment. The car has already passed the declaration of conformity, which opens the way to obtaining vehicle type approval.
Soueast S06 offers a variety of power plants. The base 1.5-liter gasoline engine develops 156 hp and is combined with a 6-speed robotic gearbox. A more dynamic version is equipped with a 1.6-liter 197 hp engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission. The S06 DM hybrid version, available on the global market, produces 360 hp, provides an electric range of up to 114 km, and fuel consumption averages 4.9 liters per 100 km. Buyers will be offered configurations with front and all-wheel drive.
The model's dimensions are 4616 × 1910 × 1690 mm, wheelbase - 2720 mm, ground clearance - 190 mm. The launch of the S06 will help the brand occupy a niche in the compact crossover segment, attract new customers and strengthen the dealer network. The Soueast S06 is already available in China and other markets.
