A 1954 Moskvich-401 has been put up for sale in Novosibirsk. Despite the fact that the car turned 71 this year, the price is impressive - 3.55 million rubles.
The owner assures that the car is in excellent condition. There are only 10 such cars left in the country.
The mileage of the vintage Moskvich-401 is more than 99.8 thousand km. Engine capacity - 1.1 liters, power - 26 hp. It is noteworthy that according to the vehicle title, the car has only one owner.
Moskvich-401 was developed on the basis of the German Opel Kadett K38, which was literally disassembled into screws at a factory in Rüsselsheim as reparations.
Drawings, equipment and technologies were brought to the Moscow Factory of Small Cars (MZMA). The production of the first model - Moskvich-400, began in 1946, and the 401st presented in 1954 became its deep modernization.
