Volkswagen presented the new ID. Polo electric car at exhibitions in Munich and Lyon, so far in a camouflaged form. The full-fledged premiere of the model is scheduled for spring 2026, and sales are expected to start in the fall of the same year. The compact electric car, 4.05 meters long, is built on the updated MEB+ platform, which provides improved energy efficiency and optimal component placement.
To attract buyers, Volkswagen has launched the "ID. Polo Access" program, which allows you to book a car for free. Participants will receive priority when ordering and a 500 euro discount on the WeCharge subscription, which will reduce charging costs at stations in this network. The estimated cost of the basic version of the ID. Polo will be about 25 thousand euros.
In 2027, the company plans to release a sports version of the ID. Polo GTI with a capacity of about 226 horsepower.
