The average cost of used cars at dealerships in Russia in the summer of 2025 decreased by 5.7% compared to the summer of last year. Compared to the first quarter of 2025, prices fell by 4.2% to 1.16 million rubles.
The average price for cars of the following brands fell the most: Geely (-6.2%), Ford (-6.1%), Mitsubishi (-5.9%), Nissan (-5.5%) and Hyundai (-4.7%).
Over the year, cars of five brands have become cheaper by more than 10% - Geely, Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Kia.
The average prices of several popular models have also decreased by more than 10% - Lada Largus, Volkswagen Tiguan, Renault Duster, Mitsubishi Outlander, Hyundai Solaris, Nissan X-Trail, Kia Ceed, Renault Logan Volkswagen Polo and Kia Sportage.
Analysts noted that the dynamics of the average price depends on changes in the cost of a particular model and changes in the market structure. The more budget cars of a particular brand or affordable versions of a particular model are on sale, the lower their average price.
