Premium brand Voyah, owned by Dongfeng Motor, has started accepting orders for the Voyah Taishan SUV. The car, nicknamed the "Chinese Cullinan" for its external resemblance to the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, is available for booking with a deposit of $280, which is credited towards the final cost of $700. Buyers are offered a lifetime warranty on the power plant. Sales will start in the fourth quarter, with exact prices to be announced later.
Voyah Taishan is equipped with a hybrid system featuring a 1.5-liter 150 hp gasoline engine and two electric motors, providing a total power of 517 hp. A 65 kWh battery allows for a range of up to 300 km on electric power (according to the WLTP standard), and the total range reaches 1400 km (CLTC). The SUV received air suspension, the Huawei ADS 4 autonomous driving system with four lidars, and the HarmonySpace 5 multimedia system.
The car's dimensions are 5230 × 2025 × 1817 mm, with a wheelbase of 3120 mm. The six-seater interior is focused on comfort and premium quality. Simultaneously with the SUV, Voyah began accepting orders for the Passion L sedan, expanding its model line.
