Following the success of the Huracan Sterrato and the extreme version of the Huracan STO, Lamborghini intends to develop the direction of "crazy" cars based on production models. In an interview with Autocar, Federico Foschini, Head of Sales and Marketing for the brand, noted that Sterrato has not yet fully revealed its potential, and the brand will definitely return to this concept when the time is right.
According to Foschini, interest in Sterrato remains, and the company wants to not just update the model, but surprise buyers with something new. He also hinted that limited series based on Urus and Revuelto may appear in the future, and not just the successor to the Huracan called Temerario. Lamborghini has already experimented with similar projects: for example, the off-road Urus participated in the Pikes Peak race, and the Urus ST-X version was created specifically for the track.
In addition, Lamborghini is actively investing in the personalization of cars. A new paint shop is already being built in Sant'Agata, which will offer up to 400 color options for Revuelto and Temerario models alone.
The company emphasizes that it puts the uniqueness and exclusivity of the brand first, and not just increasing sales.
