As many as 80% of the cars that Lada Iskra buyers are ready to trade in are other AvtoVAZ models. This was reported in the Pragmatika dealer network.
Mostly, owners of Lada Granta want to switch to Iskra, but there are already cases when Russians want to trade in Niva and Vesta in basic configurations.
Among the remaining models, 20% are foreign cars, almost all of which are over 15 years old. Among foreign car owners, Chevrolet or Skoda sedans are mainly wanted to be exchanged for the new Iskra.
The production of Lada Iskra started in Togliatti on July 20. The sedan in the basic configuration with a manual transmission costs from 1.25 million rubles. The most expensive modification of the model - the raised SW Cross station wagon with a variator - was estimated at 1.8 million rubles.
In September 2025, sales of the Lada Iskra car in Russia increased sevenfold compared to previous months.
