Demand for new Chinese cars in Russia has skyrocketed: which models are chosen in our country

Interest in Chinese cars continues to grow in Russia: according to analysts at Avito Auto, in the third quarter of 2025, demand for new cars from China increased by 34.1% compared to the first quarter. The study is based on an analysis of the activity of platform users - views of ads, contacts with sellers, and correspondence in chats.

The most popular brands among Russians are SWM, Li Auto, Jetour, Hongqi and Voyah. The leading models are SWM G05 Pro, Jetour X70 Plus, Haval M6, Jetour Dashing and Haval Jolion. Interest in Li Auto is growing especially rapidly - since the beginning of the year, demand for cars of the brand has increased by 3.7 times. There is also a noticeable increase for Chery (+65.5%), Geely (+50%), Jetour (+48.3%) and Voyah (+41.3%).

The best results were shown by Jetour X70 Plus (3.1 times growth), Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max (2.8 times), Geely Emgrand (2.7 times), Changan CS75 Plus (2.5 times) and Chery Tiggo 9 (1.9 times).

At the same time, there is a decrease in prices for some models: Chery Tiggo 9 fell by 10.5%, Haval M6 - by 7.8%, Voyah Free - by 7.7%, and Omoda C5 and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max - by about 7.2%. The largest price reduction was recorded in the Tomsk and Pskov regions, as well as in Mari El and the Altai Territory.
