In September 2025, the average cost of used cars in Russia returned to the level of the end of 2023. The decrease in prices for cars manufactured no more than 15 years ago is due to an increase in the number of offers on the market, analysts say.
Average prices for Chinese cars approached 2.08 million rubles. This is 1.5% less than in August, and 150 thousand rubles less than in 2024.
European, Japanese and Korean cars have also become cheaper, their average cost was 2.25 million rubles. Over the month, prices decreased by 1.5%, and on average over the year by 9%.
Russian cars have become more affordable, their average price has dropped to 690 thousand rubles, which is the lowest figure since November 2023.
