Changan Motors Rus has certified the new Avatr 12 five-door fastback in Russia. The model has received Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS).
Full specifications and pricing for the Avatr 12 will be revealed in the coming months, with sales scheduled to begin before the end of 2025.
The Avatr 12 is 5020 mm long with a wheelbase of 3020 mm. The model features a sleek silhouette and a panoramic roof that smoothly transitions into the rear window. The interior is designed in a minimalist style with natural materials. The electric car is equipped with air suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers.
Obtaining OTTS is a key step towards bringing the AVATR 12 to the Russian market. We are confident that this model will set new standards for luxury electric vehicles. Very soon we will present the full specification and announce prices, and in the meantime, we invite customers to familiarize themselves with the model and place a pre-order with official dealers.
The electric car will be available in seven color options, including matte purple. The interior is available in three design options — dark, light, and combined with bright accents.
A total of four trim levels have been announced, which will include a sporty exterior package, different wheel designs, and cameras instead of side mirrors.
